Company Information

Maverick Creek Ranch is our family-owned ranch located on the northern rim of the hill country on the Edwards Plateau in central Texas. The ranch is six miles southeast of Eden, Texas. Until the late 1870's, the fierce Comanche and Kiowa Indians camped in the live oak groves and hunted the game in this area.

The ranch is home to one of the largest Axis and Fallow herds in North America. At Maverick Creek, our herd lives in a free-range environment, on 1036 acres dotted with live oaks and mesquite trees.

Texas Exotic Meats, LLC was created in response to the many requests from chefs in fine restaurants and consumers looking for all natural venison. We take great pride in offering Texas grown venison of the highest quality which is processed under pristine conditions.

Maverick Creek Ranch is a member of the Texas Wildlife Association, Texas Deer Association, and the Exotic Wildlife Association.
